My group is doing a music video to the song, "Stereo Hearts".

This song is song is categorized as a Pop/Rap. Pop/Rap music videos show:

  • Costumes: Men wearing either baggy, ghetto style clothing while women would usually wear a piece of clothing that makes them look more appealing/attractive, such as revealing clothing and expensive jewelry. For an example. in Saweetie's "Icy Grl", she wears expensive clothing and jewelry and in Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beetles", all the men were shown in baggy clothes and/or shirtless.

  • Props: Includes cars, radios, cigarettes and drinks.

  • The music is very upbeat and the flow between the music and vocals are very consistent.

  • The editing of the music video varies on the song. Songs that are more upbeat are faster and active with the shots. Songs that are less hectic, show shots way longer to more than likely to tell a story.

  • The camera shows focus to the person that is rapping/singing. The camera would also switch focus to other shots like people partying and having fun.
